The Lost involves recreating aspects of a deceased person’s communication style using data you upload, such as chat exports and voice samples. You confirm that you have the necessary rights or permissions to upload this data, and that your use of persona and voice features complies with applicable law, including rights relating to a person’s image, voice, and personal data after death, where such rights exist in your jurisdiction.
The Lost is intended for personal reflection, memory-keeping, and connection with the memory of someone you have lost. You may not use personas, voice cloning, or generated content to:
Black Eye Media is not responsible for losses arising from a user’s violation of this section, and we reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate it. Full acceptable-use and liability terms are set out in our Terms of Service, which govern alongside this Privacy Policy.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures, including encryption in transit and access controls, to protect personal data against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
